UNION models were imported
stencils from Europe. These cornets bore the
engraving, SOLE AGENT. The first H.N.WHITE
production cornet was the KING SHORT model.
Several H.N.WHITE cornet models were produced in
different variations, such as the
Eb, PERFECTO and MASTER cornet's.
cornet is the MASTER model. This
model was manufactured in
numerous variations.
The early MASTER cornets were
available with a rotor and slide
adjustment to play in the keys, A, B,
and C. This was known as the
MASTER VOCAL model which was
also manufactured in the MASTER
VOCAL IMPROVED model. The
latter MASTER models were the
1067S SUPER 20 SILVERSONIC
with sterling bell and leadpipe, 1065S
SILVERSONIC MASTER with
sterling bell only, 1066 SUPER 20
MASTER, and 1065 MASTER. The
first MASTER cornet with a sterling
bell was the SILVERTONE.
manufactured in four
variations. The Eb cornet
was manufactured from
1909 to 1965 in very limited
production. In the early
1930's a little finger hook
was added to the leadpipe,
second water valve added,
and the lyre holder was
moved to the top of the third
slide as opposed to the side
of the third slide. The Eb
cornet was the Father to the
MINIATURE LIBERTY
trumpet.
