They were gifts to select employees, dealers, sales reps, celebrity musicians and friends of H. N. White. The Mini Liberty is known as the Midget or Miniature Liberty trumpet.

CATHRYN WHITE STATED THAT THERE WERE ONE HUNDRED OF THE MINIATURE LIBERTY TRUMPETS MANUFACTURED. THE TRUMPETS WERE MANUFACTURED IN THE KEYS OF Bb AND A. THE Bb TRUMPETS HAVE A SHORTER MAIN TUNING SLIDE. EDNA WHITE'S PERSONAL MINIATURE TRUMPET WAS DONATED TO THE SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM IN WASHINGTON, D.C. BY HER DAUGHTER, CATHRYN WHITE.

*The vast majority of known Mini Liberty trumpets are in the 134000 series of serial numbers. There is a known exception to a Mini Liberty once owned by Ziggy Eman with a serial number of 312224.The early Mini Liberty trumpets were manufactured in the late 1920's to early 1930's. The Ziggy Mini Liberty has a manufacture date of 1950- 1951.This horn was obviously special made as Ziggy passed away on June 26, 1968.

The Mini Liberty trumpets were manufactured in the following finish options:
I: Brass, highly polished, neatly engraved. Mother of pearl finger tips.
II: Heavily silver plated, satin finish, hand burnished. Mother of pearl finger tips.
III: Heavily silver plated, satin finish, gold plated ferrules, points, valve caps, and water keys. Mother of pearl finger tips.
IV: Heavily gold plated, satin finish with special engraving, hand burnished - bell flare, engraving, ferrules, points, water keys, and valve caps. Mother of pearl finger tips.
ARTIST SPECIAL: Very heavily gold plated, hand burnished all over, extremely rich and beautiful hand engraving in brush finish. Mother of pearl inlaid finger tips.
DELUXE FINISH: The fineset expression of designing, engraving and finishing art. Heavily gold plated and hand burnished all over. Engraved with an intricately artistic design. Special mother of pearl inlaid finger tips.
